Co-Owner of Peaches, and one of the hardest working, selfless and giving humans on the planet. We sat down with Bec to discuss female empowerment this IWD.
Everyone deserves the chance to live their lives to their full potential no matter their gender, race, sexuality or religion.
Equality is recognising and embracing diversity.
Who put their sisterly hand down to help you early on?
"I have TWO!
My bestie Aime - who also happens to be a graphic designer - has seen me start, fail and try again in so many career changes. I can honestly say she has created at LEAST 5 different business logos along with business cards, websites, flyers, you name it she created it for me. She has always believed in me which has hands down been one of the reasons why I kept trying all these crazy ideas until something fit - and by something, I mean someone - TORI CLAPHAM!
Cliche I know, but she literally paved the way for me to be where I am today. From providing me with the tools to become a PIlates instructor, to employing me as one of her first instructors and to giving me the most generous opportunity of them all - sharing her baby PEACHES with me! She's the definition of inspiring, generous and empowering and the world needs more of her!"
What does equality mean to you?
"It's about time we pay attention to those have fought for us in the past, and for us to continue fighting against discrimination and demanding equality!
Everyone deserves the chance to live their lives to their full potential no matter their gender, race, sexuality or religion. Equality is recognising and embracing diversity."
